Born and raised in Liverpool, Alexandra, less formally known as Alex, joined John Brown in September 2006 as a part time lettings co-ordinator. It was in the November of that same year that she graduated from Liverpool University last year with a BSc (Hons) is Geography.
It was clear from the onset Alex was destined for bigger and better things, and, when a Lettings Manager vacancy arose she was swiftly promoted to the position. Transforming the department beyond recognition, Alex was appointment to Commercial & Lettings Director on November 1st 2007.
Alex is best described as the office “geek”, and loves sightseeing, and studying. She enjoys socialising, and having managed restaurants and bars before joining John Brown and Company, her network of friends is vast. Alex used to be heavily involved with volunteer schemes, such as Edmund Rice Youth. A charitable organisation set up by the Christian Brothers. She has travelled to Lourdes helping disabled children, and has played a key role in the development of Edmund Rice Summer Camps, set up for children from a poor social and income background. It was in 2000, Alex was awarded with the Brother Ambrose Cup for her service in the community, which also included helping the Missionary Sisters of Seel Street Liverpool, feed the homeless, and act as a teaching assistant in Rowan Park special needs School.
Following the success of the department and outgrowing the St Helens office Alex is busy sourcing premises for the launch of a dedicated Lettings Management and Commercial Centre in the booming City of Liverpool, due to open in early 2008 coinciding with the City becoming European Capital of Culture
