John Brown and Company

Letting a property can sometimes be a complicated business. That’s why you need dedicated professionals working on your behalf, guiding you in the right direction and making sure your tenancy runs smoothly.
In addition to the free initial assessment of the property we provide you with a helpful information pack containing advice and recommendations, highlighting any potential problem areas. We will then set out our terms and charges, so you can be sure there are no hidden charges.

On receipt of your instructions we will market the property and obtain references, for your approval, on prospective tenants. When terms have been agreed we will prepare a statement of condition, or inventory where required, and an appropriate tenancy agreement. We also have a separate department specialising in student accommodation and the letting of accommodation to DSS tenants.

If you require a full management service, the knowledge and experience of our staff guarantees you the very highest level of service, whether dealing with Regulated, Assured, Assured Shorthold Tenancies or Commercial Property Management.

We cover every detail and possible outcome on your behalf, from rent collection and tenancy supervision, to the provision of reliable contractors and tradesmen for the upkeep and general maintenance of the property. Likewise our fully computerised management system enables us to account to our clients as regularly as required, producing a statement showing all income and expenditure items.
